A full website redesign , from blank brief to final prototype, for one of Australia's leading building services engineering firms.

MEPTEC Engineering
UI UX & Graphic Design
Project Overview
MEPTEC Engineers needed more than a website refresh. They needed a digital presence that matched the scale and precision of their work, a platform that could communicate complex engineering services clearly, position the brand with authority, and convert the right clients.
The Challenge
MEPTEC operates across a wide range of sectors, commercial, health, education, industrial, residential, and offers an extensive suite of services from mechanical engineering to BIM coordination and CFD modelling. The challenge wasn't just aesthetics. It was architecture. How do you present a technically complex, multi-disciplinary engineering firm in a way that's immediately clear, credible, and compelling to decision-makers?
The Process
Understand the Brief Before touching a single frame, I dug into MEPTEC's brand, their clients, their competitors, and the complexity of their service offering. Map the Architecture With a service offering this broad, structure is everything. I mapped out the full site architecture, defining how sectors, services, and projects would interconnect so users could navigate intuitively without getting lost in the detail. Every wireframe was built with purpose. No decorative decisions at this stage just clear, logical layouts that prioritised hierarchy, content flow, and user journey. Prototype & Deliver The final deliverable was a fully interactive Figma prototype, everypage designed, every component documented, ready for handoff and development.
Key Design Decisions
Strong visual hierarchy / Sector-based navigation / Project showcase layout / Scalable component system so the site can grow as MEPTEC's portfolio does
Outcome
A complete, production-ready UI/UX prototype delivered from brief to final design, giving MEPTEC Engineers a digital presence as engineered as their projects.
